Çevre Koleji is seeking a dedicated Turkish Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Turkish language and culture, committed to fostering an engaging learning environment, and capable of inspiring students to develop proficiency in Turkish language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the Turkish national curriculum and school standards.
• Language Instruction: Teach Turkish language skills including reading, writing, speaking, and listening comprehension to students of varying proficiency levels.
• Cultural Integration: Integrate Turkish culture, traditions, and history into lessons to enhance students’ cultural understanding and appreciation.
• Assessment and Feedback: Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, tests, and assignments, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
• Individualized Support: Provide individualized assistance to students who require extra help in mastering Turkish language skills.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning, ensuring student discipline and engagement.
• Parent Communication: Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
• Professional Development: Participate in professional development activities to stay updated with best practices in language teaching and educational trends.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Turkish Language Education, Turkish Literature, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Teaching certification and valid Turkish teaching license required.
• Proven experience in teaching Turkish language to students at the primary or secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish grammar, literature, and cultural aspects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Passion for teaching and fostering a love for Turkish language and culture among students.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Turkish is essential.
