Role Overview: Montessori Homeroom Teacher
As a Montessori Homeroom Teacher, you will lead a classroom of early learners by implementing the Montessori method with a strong understanding of child development. You will create an engaging learning environment, facilitate individual and group activities, and promote positive social interactions. Regular collaboration with colleagues, open communication with parents, and a proactive approach to curriculum enrichment are essential aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Recognized Montessori certification (AMI, AMS, or equivalent)
- Valid teaching license or equivalent professional certification
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a Montessori setting
- Strong knowledge of Montessori philosophy and practice
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Experience integrating technology to support early learning
- Ability to work collaboratively in an international school environment
- A commitment to continuous professional growth and a passion for early education
