Role Overview
The Montessori Middle School Teacher will guide students during an essential developmental stage, encouraging them to think critically, take responsibility for their learning, and build strong academic and social skills. This role involves creating engaging lessons that integrate Montessori principles with inquiry-based practices to inspire a love for lifelong learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a comprehensive Montessori-based curriculum to Middle School students.
- Support bilingual learning in English and Chinese classrooms.
- Design and facilitate hands-on, project-based lessons.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing personalized guidance.
- Foster independence, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and extracurricular programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- At least 3 years of teaching experience, ideally in a Montessori or international school setting.
- Strong knowledge of Montessori methods and international curricula.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and innovation.
- High proficiency in spoken and written English.
