Role: Middle School ELL Teacher
As a Middle School ELL Teacher, you will play a vital role in developing students’ English language skills while fostering a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English Language Learning (ELL) lessons aligned with the American/IB curriculum.
- Develop creative teaching strategies that support language development and promote critical thinking.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate students’ varying language proficiency levels.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and curiosity.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create cohesive learning plans that meet school objectives.
- Provide regular assessments to track student progress and offer personalized support as needed.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student achievements and areas for improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor of Education or a relevant degree with a recognized teaching qualification such as PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent specializing in ELL.
- Proven experience teaching ELL at the middle school level, preferably in an American/IB curriculum school.
- Strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning and effective ELL teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A commitment to professional growth and delivering high-quality education.
