Role Overview

As an MS/HS English Teacher, you will teach English Language and Literature to middle and high school students. You will design engaging lessons, strengthen literacy and communication skills, and help students succeed in Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level English. Beyond academics, you will encourage creativity, critical analysis, and a love for reading and writing.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English to middle and high school students following the Cambridge curriculum
• Plan and deliver lessons that develop language, literature, and communication skills
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives
• Support extracurricular programs, including debating, drama, and creative writing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or Cambridge school
• Strong subject knowledge and proven classroom management skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Ability to use technology effectively to support learning
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
