Role Overview

The MS/HS PE & Health Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons that help students build physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle habits. The teacher will encourage students to develop lifelong wellness practices and a positive attitude toward physical activity. In addition, this role involves teaching health education, covering topics such as nutrition, mental health, and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and teach PE and health courses for middle and high school students
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership through physical activities
• Design fitness and wellness programs aligned with student needs and goals
• Teach health-related concepts including nutrition, safety, and mental well-being
• Assess student progress and provide feedback that supports growth
• Contribute to extracurricular sports programs and school-wide wellness initiatives
• Collaborate with colleagues to enrich interdisciplinary learning opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education, Health Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of three years teaching experience in PE and health, preferably in international schools
• Familiarity with international curricula and best practices in health education
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
• Ability to integrate technology into teaching to enhance student engagement
