Mutiara International Grammar School (MIGS) is currently seeking a passionate and creative Music and Art Teacher to join our international academic team. Role Overview: Music and Art Teacher
As a Music and Art Teacher, you will:
- Teach engaging music and visual arts lessons to students across primary and lower secondary levels
- Plan and deliver a curriculum that integrates creativity, performance, and cultural appreciation
- Organize student exhibitions, musical performances, and art showcases to highlight learning
- Foster a classroom environment that supports collaboration, confidence, and creative risk-taking
- Use formative assessments to guide student growth and adjust instruction
- Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the school’s co-curricular and interdisciplinary programs
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Art, Fine Arts, or a related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or international equivalent)
- Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in Music, Art, or both subjects
- Experience with Cambridge Education or the British National Curriculum preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for creative education and working with international learners
- Fluent in written and spoken English
