Role: Music Teacher
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach music to primary and secondary students using varied and interactive approaches
- Develop year plans, unit plans, and engaging lesson content that reflects students’ needs
- Integrate instruments, vocal training, music theory, and music appreciation
- Lead student ensembles and prepare students for performances and school events
- Use music technology and digital tools to support teaching and learning
- Monitor and evaluate students’ musical growth and provide feedback for improvement
- Support extracurricular music activities such as choir, orchestra, or band
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and enrich the arts programme
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a closely related field
- At least 5 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting
- Experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum is an advantage
- Strong instrumental or vocal skills and the ability to conduct ensembles
- Proficiency in integrating technology into music education
