Overview:

The Little Academy in Jordan is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join our team. As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering an engaging music curriculum that inspires students and fosters a love for music. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the musical abilities of our students, encouraging creativity, and promoting an appreciation for various musical styles and traditions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum that aligns with educational standards and the goals of The Little Academy.
• Plan and conduct music lessons that include singing, instrument playing, music theory, and appreciation of different music genres.
• Create a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for music.
• Identify and nurture students’ musical talents, providing individualized instruction and support where needed.
• Organize and lead school music programs, performances, and concerts.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate music education with other subjects and school activities.
• Maintain and care for musical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about students’ progress and musical development.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in music education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music, or a related field.
• Teaching certification in music education.
• Previous experience teaching music to children, preferably in a school setting.
• Proficiency in playing multiple musical instruments and a strong understanding of music theory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Passion for music and a commitment to fostering students’ musical growth.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
