As a registered Partnership School (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama/SPK), Amman Academy delivers the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). The school fosters academic excellence, ethical development, and global-mindedness in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will teach Life Sciences, with a focus on Biology, across both the IB MYP and DP levels. You will develop engaging and rigorous lessons that promote scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and real-world applications. This role requires collaboration with colleagues, involvement in school-wide initiatives, and continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum two years of relevant teaching experience
- Solid understanding of the IB MYP and DP science curricula
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to integrate technology into instruction
