Formerly known as Sekolah Buin Batu, the school serves the children of employees and contractors affiliated with PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara, which operates the renowned Batu Hijau copper and gold mining project.
Amman Academy operates as a registered Partnership School (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama/SPK). It implements both the IB MYP and DP programs, focusing on academic excellence, character development, and global citizenship. Role Overview
As the MYP/DP Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver a comprehensive mathematics curriculum to middle and high school students. You will design lessons that promote problem-solving, analytical thinking, and real-world application. Your role will also include active participation in professional development, collaboration with colleagues, and support for student success beyond the classroom.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least two years of experience teaching mathematics
- Familiarity with the IB MYP and DP frameworks
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic about curriculum development
- Comfortable using educational technology to enhance instruction
- Committed to professional growth and student-centered learning
