Role Overview
The MYP/DP Mathematics Teacher will deliver high-quality instruction aligned with the IB framework. The successful candidate will encourage students to develop strong analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning skills while preparing them for MYP assessments and the IB Diploma Programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics across the MYP and DP levels
- Design and deliver inquiry-based lesson plans
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Integrate technology and real-world applications into lessons
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and school initiatives
- Participate in professional learning and development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably in international schools
- Familiarity with IB MYP and DP Mathematics curricula
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Commitment to professional growth and collaboration
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse international community
