Role Overview
The MYP/DP Physics Teacher will plan and deliver high-quality lessons that align with the International Baccalaureate framework. The successful candidate will encourage students to develop strong problem-solving, analytical, and experimental skills, while also preparing them for MYP assessments and the IB Diploma Programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Physics across the MYP and DP levels
- Develop engaging, inquiry-based lesson plans
- Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners
- Incorporate laboratory experiments and technology to enrich learning
- Provide timely assessment and constructive feedback
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Science Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably in international schools
- Familiarity with IB MYP and DP Physics curricula
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Commitment to professional growth and collaboration
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse international school community
