Role Overview: MYP English Teacher
As an MYP English Teacher, you will deliver engaging, rigorous instruction aligned with the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP). You will help students develop strong analytical, writing, and communication skills while cultivating a love for language and literature. The role also includes active participation in curriculum development, interdisciplinary projects, and school events.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver English lessons that follow MYP frameworks
- Foster student growth in reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking
- Encourage academic inquiry and personal expression through literature
- Create a respectful, inclusive classroom culture
- Use varied assessment tools to track and report student progress

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar international teaching role
- Familiarity with the IB MYP or similar international curricula
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Passion for international education and student engagement
- Ability to use digital tools to enhance instruction
