Role Overview: MYP Individuals & Societies Teacher
As the MYP Individuals & Societies Teacher, you will design and deliver engaging lessons that align with the IB MYP framework. You will foster analytical thinking and global awareness through subjects such as history, geography, economics, and civics. Collaboration with peers and involvement in interdisciplinary planning will play a key role in your success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History, Social Studies, Geography, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an IB MYP setting
- Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and IB assessment criteria
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- High level of proficiency in written and spoken English
- Passion for working in a multicultural, international school environment
- Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Proactive and reflective approach to curriculum development and school initiatives
