Role Overview: MYP Math Teacher

As the MYP Math Teacher, you will guide students in developing both conceptual understanding and practical problem-solving skills. You will design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with MYP objectives, encouraging students to connect mathematics to real-world contexts.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality math instruction for MYP students
• Use MYP frameworks to support inquiry, critical thinking, and reflection
• Design assessment tasks aligned with IB criteria
• Support interdisciplinary units and school-wide academic initiatives
• Provide consistent feedback to support individual student growth
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and depth in the curriculum
• Integrate technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (PGCE, QTS, or international equivalent)
• At least 2 years of experience teaching MYP or a similar curriculum
• Strong understanding of IB philosophy and MYP assessment practices
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Passion for working in a diverse and inclusive international school environment
