Role Overview: MYP Physical Education Teacher
As an IB MYP PE Teacher, you will design and deliver engaging, skills-based physical education lessons that align with the IB MYP curriculum. You will support students’ physical, emotional, and social development through diverse sports and wellness programs. This role requires strong collaboration with faculty to promote cross-curricular connections and encourage student well-being.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience teaching PE, preferably in an IB or international school setting
- Deep understanding of the MYP PE framework and inquiry-based instruction
- Excellent classroom management and motivational skills
- Strong written and verbal English communication abilities
- Proactive, student-focused, and collaborative teaching approach
- Ability to integrate technology and innovation into PE lessons
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a multicultural, globally-minded school community
