Position Overview: Nursery Homeroom Teacher

As a Nursery Homeroom Teacher, you will lead a class of young learners through engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development. Your role will involve creating a safe and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and collaborative learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, play-based lessons aligned with the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Foster a supportive classroom culture that encourages self-expression and cooperation
• Assess and monitor individual student progress through observations and developmental milestones
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to support each child’s growth
• Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to ensure quality learning experiences
• Contribute to curriculum development and school initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Recognized teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an early years classroom
• Native or near-native proficiency in English
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for early childhood education and international school settings
