Position: PE Teacher – Middle & High School
As a PE Teacher, you will play a key role in developing students’ fitness, coordination, teamwork, and sportsmanship. You will create a fun and engaging learning environment that motivates students to embrace an active lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons aligned with the US Common Core Standards
- Design engaging fitness programs that cater to different skill levels and abilities
- Teach various sports, athletic skills, and health education topics
- Encourage teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship through structured activities
- Organize intramural sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities
- Monitor and assess students’ physical progress and development
- Promote health, nutrition, and lifelong fitness habits
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Proven experience teaching PE in Middle and High School
- Strong knowledge of the US curriculum standards for physical education
- Passion for student engagement, fitness, and athletic development
- Ability to coach and mentor students in competitive sports
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
