Position Overview: Physical Education Teacher
As the PE Teacher at ISQ, you will teach physical education across elementary and/or secondary grade levels. You will foster students’ physical literacy, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fitness habits through dynamic and engaging instruction. The ideal candidate brings energy, structure, and creativity to the classroom and athletic field.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver comprehensive PE lessons tailored to different age groups
- Develop students’ motor skills, fitness, and teamwork abilities
- Promote healthy lifestyles and sportsmanship in daily activities
- Organize intramural or inter-school sports events and fitness programs
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student development holistically
- Maintain accurate student progress and performance records
- Uphold safety standards in all physical education environments
- Encourage participation and confidence in all students, regardless of skill level
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of PE teaching experience, ideally in an international school setting
- Strong classroom and behavior management skills
- Experience with American or international curricula preferred
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Commitment to professional growth and collaborative teaching
- Enthusiastic and self-driven with a student-centered approach
