Role Overview: Physical Education (PE) Teacher
As a PE teacher, you will plan and deliver dynamic lessons that promote physical literacy, teamwork, and a lifelong love for fitness. You will organize engaging activities across a wide range of sports, from athletics to team games, and support students’ physical, mental, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver PE classes aligned with the Cambridge curriculum and school standards
- Promote healthy lifestyle habits and sportsmanship through regular instruction
- Coordinate extracurricular sports clubs, inter-house competitions, and school teams
- Assess student progress through performance, participation, and effort
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate PE across student life
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of PE teaching experience, ideally in an international or IGCSE context
- Strong coaching, organizational, and classroom management skills
- Passion for holistic student development in a diverse community
- Fluent in written and spoken English
