This school is based in Geneva, Switzerland and is looking for a Ballet Teacher – Extracurricular.

Main Purpose of the Role: As a Ballet Teacher, you will tutor students aged 7 to 18, encouraging them to develop their ballet skills and practice habits progressively. You will ensure that students have a positive and enjoyable experience in class while maintaining high standards of security and discipline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and plan ballet lessons for students aged 7 to 18.
  • Ensure students have a positive and enjoyable experience in class while developing their skills.
  • Maintain security and discipline as a top priority.
  • Participate in the organization of dance shows.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Skills and Competencies:
  • Qualified and passionate classical dance teacher with experience instructing children aged 7 to 18.
  • Engaging and inspiring approach to teaching ballet.
  • Proficiency in dance and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to high teaching standards and creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and French.
  • Responsive and flexible, with the ability to collaborate positively with superiors and colleagues.

 

Conditions:
  • The chosen candidate will begin in August 2024.
  • Work a few days per week (to be determined) from 4 p.m.

You understand and embrace the importance of diversity and inclusion and stand against discrimination in any form. Background investigations and reference checks for the past ten years will be conducted during the selection process.
