Physical and Sports Education Teacher, Le Lycée Français d’Accra – J Prévert, Ghana

This school is based in Cantonments, Ghana and is looking for a Physical and Sports Education Teacher

The physical education and sports teacher will participate in educational activities, mainly by ensuring the teaching of his discipline within the LFIA.

The physical education and sports teacher will actively participate in the sports association and in training, training and sports activities.

In this context, they ensure individual monitoring and evaluation of students and will contribute to advising them in the choice of their orientation project.

The physical education and sports teacher may carry out missions as head teacher and advisor to primary school teachers.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Ø Excellent written and oral expression in French;

Ø Listening skills;

Ø Ability to get involved in AEFE sports projects (ZAC Games, Sports Week, French-speaking world…);

Ø Ability to establish a constructive relationship with the educational community;

Ø Ability to work in a team;

Ø Ability to manage a group;

Ø Ability to take part in the establishment’s projects: EPS, AS, sports activities;

Ø Ability to propose projects;

Ø Knowledge of French education abroad.

Training, Diplomas and/or qualifications required

Ø Certificate of aptitude for physical education and sports teaching or equivalent;

Ø Desirable 5 to 10 years of experience in a French high school in France or abroad).

Ø Comply with the provisions of the LFIA internal regulations;

Ø Impartiality, Probity, Professional secrecy;

Ø Significant collaborative work, particularly with other colleagues in the discipline, is expected.
