Role Overview: Physical Education (PE) Teacher

The PE Teacher will deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons to primary and/or secondary students. The successful candidate will promote physical health, leadership skills, and sportsmanship through a variety of athletic disciplines and fitness programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement physical education lessons aligned with international standards
• Lead sports activities that enhance coordination, teamwork, and discipline
• Organize school-wide fitness programs, tournaments, and sports days
• Promote physical well-being and a healthy lifestyle among students
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with other staff to support co-curricular activities and school events
• Maintain safety protocols and monitor use of sports equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or international equivalent)
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in PE or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of international PE curricula and instructional methods
• Effective classroom management and communication skills
• High proficiency in spoken and written English
• Passion for working in a multicultural, bilingual school setting
• Proactive, independent, and committed to professional growth
