Role Overview: AP and A-Level Physics Teacher

As a Physics Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons aligned with AP and A-Level standards. You will inspire students to think critically, explore scientific concepts in depth, and apply their knowledge to real-world problems. Your role will involve supporting students through university preparation and instilling a passion for physics and scientific inquiry.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach AP and A-Level Physics to high-achieving secondary students
• Develop lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives
• Design and implement assessments to monitor and support student progress
• Foster a classroom culture of inquiry, collaboration, and academic integrity
• Provide academic guidance and university preparation for science-focused students
• Participate in professional learning activities and contribute to curriculum development
• Engage in extracurricular science activities, competitions, or clubs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics or a closely related field
• Valid teaching license or international teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of experience teaching physics at the high school level
• Strong familiarity with AP and/or A-Level curricula
• Proven ability to manage classrooms effectively and differentiate instruction
• High proficiency in spoken and written English
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Tech-savvy and eager to use educational technology in the classroom
• Motivated, collaborative, and passionate about teaching in a multicultural setting
