Role Overview: Physics Teacher
As a Physics Teacher at MIS, you will teach Key Stage 3 through A-Level Physics, depending on experience and placement. You will lead engaging lessons that promote analytical thinking, scientific inquiry, and a deep understanding of physical principles. You will also play an active role in science-related clubs, events, and academic mentoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Physics lessons aligned with the British curriculum
- Design lab experiments and practical assessments that promote hands-on learning
- Track student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Collaborate with science department colleagues on curriculum development
- Participate in school-wide initiatives, science fairs, and STEM programs

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics or a closely related discipline
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years of relevant teaching experience

- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Physics education
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
