Role: Secondary Physics Teacher
We are seeking a qualified Physics Teacher who can deliver the National Curriculum for England and IGCSE Physics with enthusiasm and clarity. The successful candidate will:
- Teach engaging and effective Physics lessons to secondary students
- Deliver curriculum-aligned instruction and practical science activities that foster understanding and application
- Use assessment tools to monitor student progress and provide targeted support
- Contribute to departmental planning and resource development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the science department
- Participate in school events and student enrichment programmes
Key Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a closely related field
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level, ideally within an international or British curriculum school
- In-depth knowledge of IGCSE Physics and familiarity with CAIE, Edexcel, or AQA boards
- Excellent classroom management and lesson planning skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- A growth mindset and commitment to ongoing professional development
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Confidence using technology to enhance teaching and learning
