Role Overview

As a Preschool Homeroom Teacher, you will play a central role in supporting the academic and social development of young learners. You will create a warm, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters early literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking while encouraging creativity and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum and Laurus’ STEM-inspired programs
• Foster curiosity and inquiry through hands-on activities and interactive learning
• Support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool students
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to support each child’s growth
• Incorporate technology and creative strategies into teaching to enhance student learning
• Contribute to extracurricular activities, school events, and wider community initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in early childhood or preschool teaching
• Familiarity with international curricula and inquiry-based learning methods
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• High proficiency in spoken and written English
• Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic about innovation in early childhood education
