Role Overview
As a Preschool Teacher, you will nurture curiosity, creativity, and independence in early learners. You will design engaging lessons that follow the IB PYP framework, encourage inquiry-based learning, and support holistic child development. Beyond the classroom, you will contribute to the wider school community by collaborating with colleagues, engaging with families, and participating in extracurricular activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Use play-based and inquiry-driven methods to foster early learning skills
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and caregivers
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies
- Contribute to school initiatives, events, and community activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience, ideally in a preschool or early years setting
- Familiarity with international curricula, especially the IB PYP
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and innovative teaching
- Ability to connect with young children, parents, and colleagues in a multicultural environment
