Kids’ Academy International School in Thailand offers a British-based curriculum (EYFS leading to National Curriculum) for ages 18 months to primary, focusing on happy, confident learners in a nurturing environment with modern facilities like pools and play areas, aiming to build leaders for tomorrow through creativity, personalized care from UK-qualified teachers, and joyful, play-based learning on multiple Bangkok campuses.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate is a motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Primary Class Teacher. This specialist position demands a dedicated educator who can effectively design, manage, and deliver engaging, high-standard primary instruction. You will lead a vibrant classroom, implementing the British National Curriculum to ensure students achieve strong academic results in literacy, numeracy, and science. You will create a supportive atmosphere that balances rigorous academic standards with the school’s core values of creativity and joyful learning. By working closely with a team of UK-qualified educators, you will ensure every child reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and teach high-quality, rigorous Primary lessons that ensure full alignment with the British National Curriculum and school-wide learning objectives.
• Develop and execute engaging units of work that promote critical thinking, collaborative problem-solving, and creative expression.
• Assess student learning consistently using formative and summative tools to track academic progress and provide personalized interventions.
• Collaborate consistently with colleagues and school leadership on curriculum mapping, resource development, and the integration of specialized facilities.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and highly organized learning environment that encourages students to take ownership of their education.
• Communicate effectively with parents to build strong partnerships, providing timely updates on student progress and social-emotional growth.
• Utilize new technologies to enhance the quality of teaching and learning, preparing students for a digital future.
• Proactively enrich the curriculum and develop wider school initiatives as an independent and self-motivated professional.

Qualification

• Education: Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Primary Education or a related field.
• Certification: Possess a valid teaching license or official certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent) specifically for Primary teaching.
• Experience: Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the position or a similar role, with significant experience in British or international curricula being highly preferred.
• Curriculum Knowledge: Show strong, demonstrated knowledge of the British National Curriculum and effective pedagogical strategies for primary learners.
• Professional Skills: Maintain excellent classroom management and superb communication and collaboration skills.
• Language: Be highly proficient in spoken and written English.
• Technical Ability: Demonstrate the ability to use new technologies to enhance the quality of teaching and learning for all students.
