This school is based in Medellin, Colombia and is looking for a Primary English and Social Sciences Teacher

A Colombian and international curriculum that will help them be more competitive in today’s society. 

• Bilingual curriculum with subjects taught in English.
• K4-9 Preparatory Curriculum: Preparation for the British Columbia Global Education Program with additional subjects such as English Literacy and Canadian Social Studies , taught by international teachers.
• From 10th to 12th grade: British Columbia Global Education Program, for students who meet the admission requirements, with courses taught by Canadian teachers. Those who pass all the subjects in the program will obtain, upon completion of the 12th grade, the Canadian high school diploma ( C: Dogwood Graduation Diploma ), in addition to the Colombian high school diploma.

With a high institutional responsibility

• Development of social work activities and campaigns with the neighboring community and the Municipality.
• Social support agreements
• Social action programs with students and families.

Details:

• Student Grades: Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten
• Age of students 3-5 years
• Courses to teach: English and social studies
• Teaching hours/week: up to 24
• Working hours: 6:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday (check-out time on Wednesdays is 3:45 p.m.)

Requirements:

All candidates must hold a teaching certificate. Priority will be given to candidates with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
