Position: Primary English Teacher
As a Primary English Teacher, you will deliver engaging English language instruction to primary-aged students in Brunei’s public schools. You will plan and deliver lessons that align with national curriculum objectives, promote communicative competence, and foster a love for reading and writing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a similar primary English role
- Strong understanding of English language instruction and literacy development
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Commitment to lifelong learning and reflective practice
- Culturally responsive and enthusiastic about contributing to Brunei’s education system
- Proficient in integrating digital tools into classroom instruction
