Role Overview: Primary English Teacher (Cambridge)
As a Primary English Teacher, you will deliver high-quality English language instruction aligned with the Cambridge curriculum. You will play a key role in helping students develop strong reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills while fostering a love for literature and language learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for primary students
- Incorporate phonics, grammar, vocabulary, and literature into daily instruction
- Differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs
- Monitor and assess student progress through regular evaluations
- Collaborate with other teachers to maintain curriculum consistency
- Communicate with parents to support student development
- Integrate technology to enhance English language instruction
- Contribute to school events, clubs, and extracurricular activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, English, or a related field
- Recognized teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience teaching English at the primary level
- Familiarity with the Cambridge Primary English curriculum
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Motivated, adaptable, and passionate about student-centered learning
- Able to thrive in a culturally diverse school environment
