SIS Myanmar is looking for an experienced and dedicated Primary English Teacher to join our growing international school community in Yangon. Serving students from Preschool through Secondary, SIS Myanmar supports each learner’s journey through Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, and A/AS Level exams. In August 2025, we will open our Junior College, expanding learning opportunities and academic pathways for senior students.

Role: Primary English Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective English language lessons to primary students
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning and assessment strategies
• Encourage students to become confident, fluent English communicators
• Participate actively in school events, professional development, and curriculum enrichment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
• Teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least 5 years of relevant teaching experience
• Native English speaker with excellent communication skills
• Strong knowledge of the English language curriculum for primary education
• Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
• Self-driven, organized, and committed to continuous professional development
