Role: Primary English Teacher (Native Speaker)
As a Primary English Teacher, you will deliver high-quality instruction to students in the primary years. Your role includes developing students’ literacy, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking skills through engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary English curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English language and literacy skills to primary school students
- Design interactive and differentiated lesson plans for diverse learners
- Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress
- Encourage creativity, communication, and critical thinking in the classroom
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular learning projects
- Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to school-wide events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Recognized teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience in a primary setting
- Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum is preferred
- Native-level proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal communication skills
- A proactive, independent, and student-centered teaching approach
- Comfortable integrating educational technology into daily lessons
