Role Overview: Primary English Teacher
As a Primary English Teacher at KBH, you will create and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary English framework. Your teaching will focus on literacy development, creative expression, and building strong communication skills in students from early to upper primary levels. You will collaborate with colleagues across subjects and actively contribute to school-wide initiatives that enhance student learning and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality English instruction using the Cambridge curriculum
- Foster a love for reading, writing, and language through differentiated, student-centered activities
- Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Develop a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports individual learning needs
- Work closely with parents and the school community to promote student success
- Contribute to curriculum review and enrichment programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of experience teaching English at the primary level
- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge or other international curricula
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning
