Role Overview: Primary English Teacher
As a Primary English Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with international learning standards. You will focus on developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills while encouraging creativity, inquiry, and a love for literature. Collaboration, assessment for learning, and innovation are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and deliver effective English lessons tailored to primary-level learners
- Foster language development through storytelling, phonics, writing, and comprehension
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
- Use formative and summative assessments to inform instruction
- Encourage reading and creative expression across all learning abilities
- Collaborate with grade-level teams and contribute to curriculum planning

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in primary English
- Familiarity with international curricula (IB, Cambridge, IPC, or CBSE)
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Strong commitment to professional development and student well-being
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Ability to inspire a love of language in young learners
