Role Overview: Primary English Teacher
The Primary English Teacher will deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that support literacy growth in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. You will work closely with colleagues to implement an inquiry-based curriculum and provide differentiated instruction that meets the needs of every student.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Language Arts to primary-level students using IB and US standards
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Use assessment data to guide instruction and track student progress
- Collaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, and parents
- Integrate technology into daily teaching practices
- Participate actively in school events, meetings, and professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a relevant field
- Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of classroom experience in a similar role
- Experience with international curricula (IB PYP preferred)
- Strong command of English and excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to manage classrooms effectively and build relationships
- Demonstrated passion for international education and cultural inclusivity
- Tech-savvy and eager to innovate teaching practices
