Role Overview: Primary Homeroom Teacher (Grade 1–2)
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic primary school teacher to lead a Grade 1–2 homeroom class. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, foster a nurturing learning environment, and support students in becoming independent and confident learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach core subjects including English, Math, and Units of Inquiry
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Monitor and assess student progress using formative and summative tools
- Communicate regularly with parents to support student development
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years of primary teaching experience
- Familiarity with international or inquiry-based curricula (e.g., IB PYP)
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Excellent English language proficiency (spoken and written)
- Commitment to professional growth and collaborative teaching
- Ability to integrate educational technology into daily instruction
