Role Overview: Primary ICT Teacher
As a Primary ICT Teacher, you will deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction that develops students’ digital literacy, problem-solving abilities, and responsible use of technology. You will plan lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum, support interdisciplinary learning, and foster a classroom environment where students feel confident exploring technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience
- Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum
- Strong knowledge of ICT concepts and teaching strategies for primary learners
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural school community
- Skilled at integrating new technologies to enhance student engagement and achievement
- Proactive and motivated to support whole-school initiatives and continuous improvement
