Role Overview: Primary Math Teacher
As a Primary Math Teacher, you will lead engaging, student-centered math lessons that build foundational numeracy, logical reasoning, and a love for mathematics. You will be responsible for creating an inclusive classroom where students feel confident, motivated, and challenged to reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver math instruction aligned with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum
- Develop lesson plans that encourage inquiry, critical thinking, and real-world application
- Use assessment tools to track student progress and inform instruction
- Integrate technology to support interactive and differentiated learning
- Maintain a positive and respectful classroom culture
- Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and school leaders
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to support interdisciplinary projects and curriculum design
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of math instruction at the primary level
- Effective classroom management and communication skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Passion for working in a culturally diverse international school setting
