Role Overview: Primary Mathematics Teacher
As a Primary Mathematics Teacher, you will teach foundational math concepts to students in lower or upper primary grades. You will help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a strong understanding of mathematical principles in real-world contexts.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary framework
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners in the classroom
- Use assessments to monitor student progress and guide instruction
- Integrate hands-on learning, technology, and cross-curricular connections
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan projects and co-curricular activities
- Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least two years of experience teaching mathematics in a primary setting
- Familiarity with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum or other international programmes
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative in approach
- Confident in using educational technology to enhance learning
