Role Overview: Primary Mathematics Teacher
As a Primary Mathematics Teacher, you will engage students in a dynamic learning environment and help them develop essential numeracy and problem-solving skills. You will play a key role in preparing students for global academic standards while nurturing a positive classroom culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach mathematics to primary-level students using the Cambridge curriculum
- Create lesson plans that align with learning outcomes and inspire mathematical thinking
- Incorporate educational technology and hands-on activities
- Monitor student progress through assessments and timely feedback
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan cross-curricular activities
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and fellow staff
- Participate in school events and professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience
- Experience with the Cambridge curriculum is highly desirable
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Strong command of spoken and written English
- Passion for education and student-centered learning
