Role Overview: Primary Mathematics Teacher
As a Primary Mathematics Teacher, you will play a key role in building foundational numeracy and problem-solving skills in young learners. Your lessons will promote mathematical thinking, confidence, and creativity while aligning with Cambridge and national standards. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the development of engaging and effective teaching strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver mathematics instruction to primary students using age-appropriate, inquiry-based methods
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet learning objectives
- Use assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Integrate digital tools to enhance student engagement and understanding
- Support students’ personal growth and enthusiasm for mathematics
- Collaborate with parents, faculty, and school leadership to improve learning outcomes
- Participate in school events, professional development, and curriculum initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar teaching role
- Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum or other international frameworks
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
