Role: Primary Mathematics Teacher
As a Primary Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver engaging, concept-driven lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary Mathematics curriculum. Your role involves fostering a love for mathematics, helping students gain confidence in numeracy, and preparing them for higher levels of study.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach primary-level mathematics to students in Key Stages 1 and 2
- Develop and implement lesson plans that support different learning styles
- Promote mathematical reasoning, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Use interactive tools and hands-on activities to reinforce key concepts
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments
- Collaborate with teaching staff to support interdisciplinary learning
- Communicate regularly with parents about student development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of relevant classroom teaching experience
- Familiarity with the Cambridge Primary Mathematics curriculum is preferred
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Passion for working with young learners in a multicultural environment
- Self-motivated, creative, and committed to professional development
