Role Overview: Primary PE Teacher
As a Primary PE Teacher, you will promote physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among students in Grades 1–6. You will deliver a broad and balanced PE curriculum that supports physical, social, and emotional growth while fostering a lifelong love of movement and sport.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and teach engaging PE lessons aligned with British and international standards
- Introduce a variety of sports, games, and fitness activities
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership in every lesson
- Organize school sports events, inter-house competitions, and after-school clubs
- Monitor student progress and tailor instruction to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the whole-school physical education program
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all students
- Integrate technology and modern teaching tools into the PE curriculum
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of PE teaching experience at the primary level
- Experience working with international or bilingual curricula preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- High proficiency in English (spoken and written)
