International School of Lusaka is seeking enthusiastic, qualified, experienced and dynamic teachers for the following positions to join our vibrant and inclusive school community. Experience in an international school with the IBDP, IGCSE, IMYC and/or IBPYP curriculum will be highly advantageous. As the Primary Principal, you will work closely with a team of talented educators to inspire excellence and foster a supportive and engaging learning environment aligned with IB’s mission and philosophy. You will guide our school in maintaining high standards, implementing the IB PYP framework, and nurturing a culture of curiosity, respect, and global citizenship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the academic and operational functions of the primary school, ensuring alignment with the IB PYP standards.
• Lead and support a dynamic team of educators, promoting continuous professional development and collaboration.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and learner-centered environment, encouraging inquiry-based learning and critical thinking.
• Engage with students, parents, and the school community to support student growth, well-being, and development.
• Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to implement school-wide initiatives and strategic goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in school leadership, preferably within an IB PYP or similar international education setting.
• In-depth knowledge of the IB PYP framework and a commitment to inquiry-based learning.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a passion for empowering both students and staff.
• Experience in multicultural and inclusive environments is highly valued.
