Role Overview: Primary School PE Teacher
The Primary School PE Teacher will deliver a high-quality physical education program that fosters physical literacy, teamwork, confidence, and a love of movement. You will play a key role in helping students develop lifelong healthy habits and a strong sense of sportsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and teach engaging PE lessons aligned with international and school-specific frameworks
- Encourage student participation and help all learners achieve personal fitness goals
- Promote positive values such as collaboration, respect, and perseverance
- Organize and support sports events, school competitions, and extracurricular activities
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate wellness into broader school initiatives
- Maintain open communication with families about student progress and participation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education or a related field
- Valid teaching license or equivalent qualification (QTS, PGCE, etc.)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching PE at the primary level
- Knowledge of international education standards and best practices in physical education
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for student well-being and holistic development
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Self-motivated, organized, and enthusiastic about working in a diverse school setting
- Comfortable using technology to enhance PE instruction and learning outcomes
