Role Overview

As a Primary School Teacher, you will play a central role in guiding students through their formative learning years. You will design engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), helping students develop critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills. This role requires creativity, patience, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that meet PYP standards
• Create a classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and confidence
• Use innovative teaching strategies and technology to support learning
• Assess and monitor student progress with constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school-wide initiatives
• Support extracurricular activities and contribute to whole-school events
• Build strong relationships with parents, students, and the wider school community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience, ideally in an international or IB school
• Familiarity with the IB PYP framework and inquiry-based learning approaches
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• High proficiency in spoken and written English
• Commitment to professional growth, collaboration, and innovation
