Role Overview: Primary School Teacher
As a Primary School Teacher, you will design and deliver engaging lessons that align with international curriculum standards. You will guide students through key stages of academic development while promoting creativity, respect, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons in English, mathematics, science, and humanities
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom culture
- Assess student performance using formative and summative tools
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding academic progress and personal development
- Support students’ social-emotional growth through positive behavior strategies
- Integrate technology to enhance learning experiences
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related subject
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in a primary school setting
- Familiarity with international curricula (Cambridge, IB, or Singaporean) preferred
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Strong command of English in both written and spoken form
